2016 Barbera Reserve

This special bottling of 2016 Barbera was blended to highlight the more structured side of Barbera. Often considered a soft and inviting wine, Barbera is also historically known for its bracing acidity, and deep, dark color, especially in its native Piedmont, Italy. This blend was made to reflect that history, including a slightly larger share of cooler climate vineyard lots and a small amount of Cabernet Sauvignon. The extra age on this wine helped soften it to its current state of elegance.
